Like many historic structures, it passed through decades of change — some prosperous, some difficult. By the time it came into our hands, it needed more than renovation. It needed a vision.

We are not developers. We are neighbors. And we are building something we would want to visit ourselves.

Our Story A Historic Place. A New Chapter. Built in 1883, 19 Talonah has stood in the heart of Talking Rock for generations. Today, we're giving this beautiful old property a new chapter—one that celebrates its history while creating something fresh for our community. We’re Reggie and Michelle Eubanks, the husband-and-wife team behind The Décor Amore and The Talking Rock Cigar Co. We fell in love with the character of Talking Rock: the historic buildings, the slower pace, and most importantly, the people. When the opportunity came to take on 19 Talonah, we saw more than an old building. We saw what it could become. More Than a Marketplace Our vision for 19 Talonah - Shoppes At Talking Rock is to create a destination filled with independent businesses, makers, artists, and specialty shops that each bring something different to the experience. We're intentionally focused on quality over quantity. We don't simply want to fill spaces. We want to bring together a collection of shoppes that complement one another and give people a reason to explore every room, come back often, and discover something they didn't expect to find. You'll find our own businesses here alongside a carefully selected group of independent vendors, with new discoveries, seasonal offerings, pop-ups, and special events throughout the year. The Work

Restoring What Was Worth Keeping.

From the first day we walked through the door to the morning we opened it to the public — every nail, every coat of paint, every pallet of stone was part of bringing this building back to life.

The Renovation

What We Walked Into.

The bones were good. The work was real. Before a single wall went up, we had to understand what we had — and what it was going to take.

Reclaiming the Grounds

From Overgrown to Open.

The building wasn't the only thing that needed attention. The grounds had been reclaimed by nature — vines, brush, and years of growth covering what was once a welcoming entrance. Getting it back took equipment, muscle, and a lot of muddy days.
